About

My name is Mary E. Fitzpatrick and I am the Director of Diversity Research and Evaluation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Engineering. I have a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2011), an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University (1992), and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa (1985). I was a practicing engineer and program manager in industry for 17 years before returning to graduate school. My career as a scientist-practitioner focuses on researching the psychologies and practices around women and minorities in engineering.
